Important safety notice! Toys recalled
As of August 2, 2007 Fisher-Price/Mattel is conducting a voluntary recall of certain products.
Worldwide, 83 products items are affected. In South Africa, only the Barney Best Manners Phone (Product Code: B6966) has been sold. Other products of the Fisher-Price assortment are NOT affected by the recall in South Africa.
Background
Fisher-Price/Mattel have found that a limited number of products that were manufactured between April 19 and July 6, 2007 contain paint with too high a lead content. Product that was purchased prior to 1 June 2007 is not affected.
If you own the above-mentioned product that was purchased after 1 June 2007 with date codes between 109-7lF and 187-7LF you can return them to the retailer where you bought it and you will receive a refund. For further information contact the Just Fun Careline: (011) 405-3399 or email us on:
Mattel has stopped the shipment of the product with immediate effect. The trade has already been informed and we are proactively taking the products off the shelves.
