Pay@Pep allows customers to pay for flights in Pep stores nationwide

Travelstart and Pep have partnered to deliver a service that enables customers to pay for flights in more than 600 Pep stores nationwide. Named Pay@Pep, the partnership will make it easier for those customers who are looking for alternative ways to pay for their flights.

Commenting on the partnership, Travelstart head of global partnerships Odette Faling said, “Pep is helping us reach customers that prefer to pay for goods and services in-store. This is part of our strategy to increase access to air travel for all South Africans including those who don’t have credit cards. Strategic partnerships are key to our customer experience and service delivery efforts and working with a strong partner like Pep makes sense.”

How it works

Customers who wish to use Pay@Pep can follow the usual steps when booking flights on Travelstart.co.za and select ‘Pay@Pep’ at check out. Customers will receive a reference number which can be taken to their nearest Pep store to complete the payment securely. Cash, credit cards, debit cards and EFT are accepted to pay for Travelstart flights in Pep stores. Once payment is complete a booking confirmation and flight e-ticket is emailed immediately.

While Pep is the first retailer to accept payment for flights booked on the Travelstart.co.za website, the online travel agency will be rolling out the pay-in-store service at various retailers across South Africa in the coming months.
