AFGRI to supply chickens to KFC
AFGRI Poultry, the broiler producing and processing arm of AFGRI (AFR), has been appointed a third supplier to the chicken restaurant chain KFC.
The popular chicken restaurant chain is owned by Yum.
"The relationship with Yum is extremely important for AFGRI and being able to expand our current relationship into chicken products is something we are extremely happy about," said AFGRI chief executive Chris Venter. "This announcement, together with the appointment of Izaak Breitenbach as MD of AFGRI Poultry reflects our commitment to the poultry business."
