The Tenant Excellence Awards recognises top retailers who have generated outstanding turnover results and excelled through exceptional customer service, world-class merchandising and supreme product knowledge throughout the year.
Sandton City turned 40 in September and there are two stores that have been part of the centre since 1973, Schwartz Jewellers and The Optical Centre, which were given long service awards.
"We are proud of our tenants, all of whom have contributed to making the centre the world-class shopping destination it is. However, I wish to extend congratulations to the tenants who are winners in their respective categories," says Sharon Swain, property portfolio manager: Sandton City and Nelson Mandela Square. "These tenants have consistently proved their commitment in offering customers superior service and ensuring they go the extra mile to provide a shopping experience second to none."
