BEE briefing for PR consultants

The advertising industry has produced a draft scorecard for broadbased black economic empowerment (BEE) for its sector which will be presented to the public relations and communication management consulting industry this Friday, for discussion and comment towards transforming the PR industry.

The public relations consultants' chapter of PRISA (PRCC) has organised a consultative workshop to be presented by Nkwenkwe Nkomo, chairman of the monitoring and steering committee for BEE in the advertising sector.

It is important for consultants to attend this briefing so that questions can be answered, explanations provided and input taken on board before this scorecard is presented to Parliament within the next two months.

Venue: FCB Auditorium, 15 Fredman Drive, Sandton (next to IDC which is on the corner of West & Fredman Streets).
Parking: Very limited at the venue but street parking in Fredman Drive is safeguarded
