Ballito celebrates successful Christmas
The Ballito Junction shopping centre held its Summer Fun Land promotion from 17 December 2010 to 2 January 2011 was seen as a successful promotion during which shoppers won prizes and partook of various activities.
These included craft making workshops, balloon sculpting, a Christmas puppet show, face painting, a pizza making workshop at Mamma G's, story time at Bargain Books, stilt walkers and jugglers and a snake show. Other events and activities included the Dis-Chem bench press competition, a Christmas table décor demo courtesy of La Stem, helicopter rides around Ballito, tasty giveaways from Marnica's Confectionary and festive music from the Salvation Army's brass band and All Saints Catholic Church Choir performing carols by candlelight on the evening of 23 December.
Following this success, the centre looks forward to hosting similar events.
