Love is in the air
In keeping with the brand's popular on-pack P.S. messaging, the competition urges South Africans to write their own Valentine's message to their loved one – and stand the chance of having that message put up for all the country to see. The company has secured eight billboards around the country – in New Brighton, Port Elizabeth; Khayalitsha, Cape Town; Kwa-Mashu, Durban; 1st Ave, Bloemfontein; Kanyamanzane, Mpumalanga; Seshogo, Limpopo; Soweto, Johannesburg; and Mamelodi, Pretoria – on which the winning messages will be displayed for the duration of the promotion.
This campaign starts in January with billboards updated with new messages on a weekly basis. The last message will be posted on February 12, just in time for Valentine's Day, which is on February 14. Each billboard, which will be erected blank, will then eventually display eight personalized messages from starry-eyed South Africans desperate to attract attention from the object of their affection.
The eight winners will also be announced on YoTV, and will be interviewed on their local radio stations, allowing South Africans to follow their individual tales of romance.
The overall winner, who will be chosen via an interactive vote on YoTV, will be announced on February 16 and will win a romantic trip for two in a hot-air balloon over the Magaliesberg. The flight will be flighted on YoTV.
To enter, simply SMS your message and the last three digits of the barcode on any Cadbury P.S. product to the number provided on the in-store display units.
Who knows? Your message could win the heart of someone you love!
PS… A limited edition range of P.S bars - now available in-store nationwide – also feature a variety of special Valentines Day messages.
