The limited edition 1,5 litre 2002 Merlot magnum comes in a gift box that is a first for South Africa: it consists of two parts – an outer cover that slides over the inner core that holds the bottle with an open front and back to outline the shape of the bottle.

Zonnebloem Merlot 2002 is rich in prominent fruit aromas with traces of violets, cherries and chocolate on the nose, whilst the palate delights with ample fruit flavours enhanced by a touch of oak spiciness. It's great on its own or pairs perfectly with rich oxtail stews, chicken curries or red-meat dishes.
