Welmoed launches mobisite

The new mobi site for Welmoed wines, developed by Cell Smart, features an interface that is easily accessible using a basic cellphone with WAP (wireless access protocol), and comes with a variety of content modified for cellphones.

The mobisite is an extension of the brand's 2010 beautiful game promotion currently running Checkers and Checkers Hyper stores nationwide. The promotion was developed to offer soccer fans and its consumers the opportunity to win a luxury holiday for two to a game lodge.

Corne Oosthuizen, SA and SADC brand and business development manager for the company of wine people says, "We are continuously trying to produce new and exciting offerings extending the wine brands and this site is going to do just that. It will be an ongoing offering and platform for consumers to engage with Welmoed."
