Tiara 2006 available in magnum
Simonsig Estate has launched its 2006 Tiara in a magnum gift box set. The 2006 vintage secured 4 ½ stars in the 2010 Platter Guide and the 750ml is sold out, making the magnum edition an even bigger ‘must-have' for any serious wine lover's collection.
“In 2006, Merlot produced stunning wines, perhaps the best ever due to soft tannins and powerful fruit, whilst Cabernet was the stand out red variety of our harvest and this perhaps explains why the Tiara 2006 contains no Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, unlike the other vintages,” Simonsig winemaker Johan Malan.
The magnum retails for R320 with stylish gift box at selected fine wine outlets countrywide.
