Targeted at a significant number of consumers who utilise public transport, this campaign will be rolled-out in major provinces including Gauteng, Western Cape, KwaZulu-Natal, Free State and the Eastern Cape. Twenty Siyaya taxis - one of South Africa's most prominent taxis - have been transformed from ordinary taxis into beautifully designed mobile billboards.
“Aimed at the large percentage of Bronx's target market that utilise public transport, this new campaign forms part of a broader integrated marketing campaign which intends to increase brand awareness for Bronx amongst its core markets,” said Wayne Stanford, brand manager for Bronx.
In addition, Bronx is running a competition where members of the public can SMS their details to a unique number on each taxi and stand the chance to win shoe hampers.
The Hunter boot continues to exceed sales targets and maintains its title as Bronx's hero shoe in terms of popularity and sales. The Old Town boat shoe, a laid-back lace-up associated with nautical fashion is a popular favourite and is expected to be this season's must-have.
