Hello Kitty turns 35
Hello Kitty, who first hit the world in 1974, will be celebrating her birthday in South Africa alongside another icon, the teddy bear, at Build-A-Bear Workshop outlets in malls across the country.
To mark her guest appearance, she will be showing just how gracefully she has aged and will be wearing her 35th Anniversary Hello Kitty dress, a pink and black satin dress with rhinestone and bow detail.
She can be personalised with clothing and accessories to make the ultimate Hello Kitty gift for the festive season and will be part of the Santa's workshop experience at the following outlets in Gauteng; Sandton City, Clearwater Mall, East Rand Mall and Menlyn Park. In Cape Town at the Waterfront, Canal Walk and Somerset Mall and in Durban at Gateway and the Pavilion.
