Bar-One is SA men's favourite chocolate
FHM, with a circulation of over 80,500, invited its readers to vote in the poll, which covered a broad spectrum in order to get a concise idea of what SA men hold dear. Categories included topics as diverse as 'Best Facebook Application' to 'Best Way To Get Injured'. Bar-One chocolate was voted "Best Chocolate" overall. "Whatever we choose to do with a bonus hour, it's clear we're dudes who can use a 25-hour day," says FHM in the March issue of the magazine.
"Bar-One is the brand that celebrates real men," says Nestle Bar-One brand manager, Monique Koning. "The FHM award confirms that for South African men who are working, living and playing hard, a Bar-One is the best choice to keep up their energy."
The chocolate bar was introduced to South Africans in the 1970s and is still one of its favourite snacks with the tag line "For a 25 hour day".
