Truworths finance director steps down
Wayne van der Merwe has resigned as finance director of apparel retailer Truworths with effect from 16 April 16 2009 to relocate to with his family to Australia, Truworths said today.
Wayne has been an employee of the group since 1999 and was appointed as a director of the company in 2002.
Michael Mark, the chief executive, said a replacement was expected to be found over the course of the next six months without undue disruptions to the business portfolios overseen by Van der Merwe.
