Strengthening the international appeal of the Cape Blend style of wine, the newly released Frans Malan 2004 scooped a Gold Best in Class medal at the authoritative 2007 International Wine & Spirit Competition in London.
Its predecessor, the acclaimed 2003 vintage, also wowed the international wine community with a gold medal at the 2007 MUNDUSvini International Wine Awards in Germany. This event is dubbed the largest officially recognised wine competition in the world. Simonsig Frans Malan was one of only two Cape blends to be ranked amongst the 23 South African wines that scored gold medals at this annual international competition.
The wine is available in a stylish, limited release designer tin which makes it the perfect gift for Father's Day. It retails from approximately R115 per bottle at fine wine outlets countrywide or directly from the cellar.
