St Georges Home gets a makeover
Celebrating their 40th year of care giving, St. Georges Home for Girls was ecstatic to receive two complete bathroom makeovers to a value of about R90 000 from ON-TAP Plumbing Supplies.
Peter Jefferson, franchise manager of ON-TAP Plumbing Supplies, Cape Town, has provided St. Georges Home for Girls with two fully tiled and revamped bathrooms consisting of six new showers and enclosures, 10 new hand basins, three new toilets, four new cisterns and storage units suitable for 40 girls.
Graeme Cairns, Caregiver and business manager of St. Georges Home for Girls, explains that ‘We provide children from a difficult background with a safe and loving environment that they can call home. We do not only provide these girls with a home but with education too, including computer training and HIV/AIDS awareness, giving the girls an opportunity to excel in their lives. St. Georges Home for Girls has been in existence since 1968 and as this building has remained relatively unchanged for forty years; it is a treat to not only receive a complete bathroom makeover from ON-TAP Plumbing Supplies but have it installed too.'
The company's premium quality range of sanitaryware, baths, shower enclosures, hot water systems, taps and mixers, stainless steelware and tiles are sure to provide the 40 young girls of St. Georges Home with a bathroom to enjoy, for many years to come.
