Why children must shape Africa’s digital future

The wine was produced from vineyards grown in five regions known for their signature Sauvignon Blanc. The grapes from each region were vinified separately, and blended according to flavour. The resulting wine is a complex expression whose varying blend proportions make it a first for South African Sauvignon Blanc.
Winemaker Ian Naudé says, “I aimed to make a blend of the best of our Sauvignon Blanc; not a wine that fits the mould of another country's style. A French-style wine will always be best in that particular class; a wine from New Zealand will outshine others that imitate the style.
“My goal was to make a wine that blends the best of our own; something new for the serious fans of South African Sauvignon Blanc.
“South Africa is the only country where old world truly meets new,” he adds. “We're ideally placed to create a harmonious blend of both, that offers something completely unique.”
The wine retails for approximately R55 at Wine Concepts, Bootleggers, Johnny's Liquor Pretoria, Wine Village Hermanus and cybercellar.com.
