SA companies can no longer afford to ignore extended producer responsibility

The estate's Pinotage 2005 competed with a record 148 entries. A panel of experts comprising respected local and international judges adjudicated the entries.
This robust Pinotage is made of grapes handpicked from vineyards in the Stellenbosch region cultivated under dryland conditions. Made in a contemporary style with minimal interference, this wine was matured for 15 months in second-fill French oak casks before spending another three months in the bottle for further maturation, resulting in a rich, full-bodied wine with abundant flavour and character.
Justin Corrans, Fleur du Cap red winemaker, describes this wine as hearty and powerful with a good tannic structure.
This red retails at around R45 per bottle.
