Johannesburg inner city gets a make-over

Tile Africa's Contracts division is giving Johannesburg's inner city a makeover through a major rejuvenation phase.

Afhco Holdings has awarded the Tile Africa's Contracts team a contract to supply tiles, bathroom ware, under floor heating and accessories for the 126 upmarket residential units at Traduna House, which are currently under construction in Braamfontein.

The units, each approximately 60m2 in size, are being fitted with high quality Tile Africa products including glass mosaics, porcelain tiles and Sandstone riven tiles for a contemporary modern feel.

"We take the headache out of dealing with numerous suppliers by creating a one stop shop for clients, supplying all requirements from architectural and design consultants to ceramic and porcelain tiles, a full range of décor and accent products, all natural stone products, taps, accessories and bathroom ware" says Craig Irvine, the company's Head of Contracts.

A key contact person or technician is involved with each project from start to finish, ensuring continuity. Each team member is skilled in all aspects of the process, from measuring to calculation and suggestions for appropriate products.

Tile Africa is a division of Norcros SA, which also owns the well-established Johnson Tiles and TAL brands in the South African tiling market.
