Wicked water!

Vawter is a new premium pure sparkling spring water cooler that introduces a note of extra purity to the RTD market. The only product of its kind on the South African market, it is made from fresh spring water sourced from the Franschhoek Mountains, combined with premium vodka and a splash of lime.

It has a hint of tangy sweetness on the palate and with a 5.5% ABV, it comes in lower than many other coolers and offers the responsible drinker a lighter and very refreshing alternative.

Brand development manager, Shannon Grundlingh, says the unusual name, Vawter, was chosen to reflect the synergy of vodka mixed with water.

"We believe there is a market for an alcoholic beverage with sophisticated styling and taste that caters to consumers with a preference for purity of ingredients. This product is also ideally suited to hard-working busy young professionals, who like to work and play hard."

The product is packaged in stylish 300ml bottles and their distribution will be supported by a marketing campaign that will include national radio advertising and promotional party and tasting events at selected high-end bars starting in November.
