The new range includes chicken nuggets, burgers, strips, steaklets and schnitzels and is available under the retail brand of one of its national retail partners and under its own catering brand Chicken’tizers for quick service restaurant, hospitality and catering industries. The new variant has a mature cheddar cheese flavour and comes with a hint of onion.
Gerald Walter, sales and marketing director said, “The new cheese variant of the crumbed and cooked range has an authentic texture, as the meat fibres are still visible between globs of cheese. We believe we have now perfected an art that has not yet been fully achieved in the market to date. Attention was given to meat succulence, flavour and coating texture. Like all value-added products, the new range only contains chicken meat and no extenders such as soya or MDM are used. Our inclusion of 12% cheese is also higher than other products on the market.”
