Castle Milk Stout wins Monde Selection award

"This is the second time the brand has been awarded the accolade since 2012, so we are thrilled to say that we are maintaining our levels of quality," said Julian Remba, Castle Milk Stout's GM.

Castle Milk Stout began entering the Monde awards in 2010 and has consistently received Grand Gold awards each year.

At this year's awards, held in Portugal in June, the Castle Milk Stout can was also awarded a Grand Gold award.

Castle Milk Stout is the only beer that uses a dark roasted malt to extract a rich brew for a full-flavoured experience, and the vitally important roasting process is one that is carefully controlled by skilled maltsters at Alrode Maltings Plant in Joburg.
