Judges

The Assegai's events company, Jumping Dust, was robbed two days prior to the Assegai Banquet and had all their equipment, computers, etc. stolen. The audiovisual presentation used at the Banquet was re-created in just 48 hours... however, an important mistake was made: the incorrect list of judges was used. The Assegais offer a huge apology to all the judges who worked around the clock over two judging weekends to evaluate the hundreds of entries. They are:

Sponsors

The Assegai Awards would not have happened without the support of all the generous sponsors! Special thanks to the main sponsor, Alexander Forbes, and to all the other cash and services sponsors who helped to make the 2002 Awards a reality. Their details are on the Assegai website and you are encouraged to support them wherever possible.

Review Meetings

Assegai Review meetings will be held in Cape Town and Johannesburg to get feedback and input as to how Awards may be improved next year - from the entry process through to the banquet.

Cape Town: 19 September 2002, 08h30, at B&L Direct
