Deadline for entry into the ThinkAhead Awards extended

The deadline for submission of entries to the thinkahead awards has been extended to Monday, 3 November. Final year students from all tertiary graphic design institutions are eligible to enter a portfolio for a chance to win awards in one or more of 13 categories.

The top prize, the thinkahead Platinum Award, is a new Apple e–Mac, valued R27,000 sponsored by Core Group and includes over R14,000 worth of software from Adobe and Corel.

A portfolio may be entered into a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 8 categories and submissions should be posted or delivered to think no later than close of business on Monday, 3 November. Address for postage is PO Box 414010, Craighall, 2024 or delivery to 41 Buckingham Ave, Craighall Park, Johannesburg.

Entries must be submitted on CD Rom in a suitable presentation format, i.e. PowerPoint® or Flash. If necessary a creative rationale of not more than 200 words in MS Word® format may be accompany the submission.
