TEDxCapeTown's 2014 headline event, Design Your Thinking, kicks off next month at Cape Town City Hall

TEDxCapeTown's headline event this year, Design Your Thinking, will explore the nature of ideas themselves. This year, talks will focus on what made someone change the way they think and the people whose ideas have inspired them to take positive action and change the world around them.

With the support of Open Design Cape Town, Design Your Thinking will take place next month at Cape Town City Hall on the 16 and 17 August 2014. In addition to a full day of TEDxCapeTown talks, this year, tickets will cover a second day of inspiring workshops that will give attendees the opportunity to engage with speakers in smaller, more interactive sessions.

Design Your Thinking is committed to bringing you entertaining and meaningful content that will test and inspire you to alter your thinking and this year, talks will centre around the themes of:

• Paradigm Shifts
  
• Sustainability
  
• Connectedness
  
• Delicious Monsters and Wicked Problems

Speakers this year include Dave Duarte, Entrepreneur and Educator, Justin Smith, Head of Sustainability at Woolworths, Willem van Biljon, Entrepreneur and co-developer of Amazon.com's cloud computing technology and Music Producer, Jon Savage.

TEDxCapeTown2014 would not be the same without the support of our partners and sponsors.
