Germany, Australia and Russia top of the Young Lions Film competition

The competition asked the 38 international teams to create an online campaign to fit the brief given by the World Wide Fund (WWF), an international non-governmental organisation that protects endangered wildlife, tackles climate change and promotes sustainable use of resources.

The winning team was honoured and awarded during the Film, Film Craft, Branded Content & Entertainment and Titanium & Integrated Awards Ceremony on Saturday, 27 June. Gold, Silver and Bronze medals will be presented to the winners. Gold winners also receive two passes to next year's Festival, as well as accommodation for the week, but the real value of winning one of the competitions is the exposure it gives to young talent.
