The event will see the introduction of creative and innovative new campaigns that will have an impact on the pharmaceutical, wellness and health industries. The new festival will also open up opportunities for international recognition of creatives and clients within the South African health industry.

Local representative of the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, Cinemark, has indicated that nominees need to be healthcare creative specialists for the Pharma Jury, where they will judge communication campaigns that are solely for the attention of healthcare professionals and non-healthcare professionals such as Pharma, Vaccines & Biotech, Devices, Diagnostics and Veterinary.

Nominees need to be a mix of healthcare and consumer creative specialists for the Health & Wellness Jury where they will be judging consumer products and education and services campaigns.

Nominees need to meet the following criteria:

• Must have a creative background and be a senior creative in an office or a region
• Must be well respected in the industry
• Must have won top level awards (such as Clio Health, Mannys, The Global Awards, IPA Best of Health Awards, MM&M or RX Club Show)
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English
• Preferably multi-disciplinary (worked across film, print, digital or radio)
