Sahara Computers clinches lucrative motor sport sponsorship deal

Local IT supplier and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Sahara Computers has announced that it will sponsor South Africa's Production Car Championship, a highly competitive racing category on the Vodacom Power Tour, for the next five years. The company has committed to the long-term, multi-million Rand sponsorship agreement, based on a performance contract brokered by Vodacom Power Tour holding company Pole Position Promotions.

The sponsorship will come into affect from the first race of next season at the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit on 26 February 2005, and Sahara Computers will have the official naming rights to the Production Car Championship across all classes (Classes A, B and C).
