Kauai to launch catering division at the 3rd Annual Discovery Vitality Fitness Convention & Trade Show

Health food and juice company, Kauai, will launch its new catering division at the 3rd Annual Discovery Vitality Fitness Convention & Trade Show, scheduled to be held in Johannesburg from the 7-9 October 2004.

According to Kauai's marketing manager, Michelle Davy, the company has specifically developed this new division to cater for private and corporate functions, as well as film or photography shoots. "The new division's menu caters for the health-conscious consumer with a range of canapés, fresh fruit skewers, smoothies and gourmet sandwiches presented in an appetizing and visually appealing manner."

Kauai has twelve full-concept stores nationwide, as well as seventeen Kauai Express stores in selected Virgin Active health clubs. The company sources and uses only quality ingredients from all over the world, including roasted sesame oil from Thailand, Kuzu root and Ginseng from China, Guarana from the Amazon forests, Spirulina from the volcanic lakes in Hawaii and balsamic vinegar from Italy.
