CASTECH awarded design contract for Soft Rock Mining

The CASTECH Group has successfully tendered and been awarded the contract to design a completely new LHD (Load Haul Dumper) machine for local conditions in the RSA. The contract is with one of the Leading Soft Rock International Mining Houses, whom do not want to be named at present. We were informed by the Groups - Technical Director - Mr Chris Stanley. Who added that the LHD in question will be totally South African Designed and Manufactured, with possible exports in the future.
