Packaging Designer

LKDA is looking for experienced designer who loves designing packaging and creating new product brands.

Candidate will join dedicated creative team working on a variety of leading local and international FMCG product brands ranging from sport supplements, beauty/personal care products, beverages, food brands and general consumer products.

Role and responsibility:

• Design of new product brand identities
• Concept design of master packaging look and feel based on brief, product type, audience and objectives
• Application and rollout of complete brands across various products
• Maintain brand consistency across all packaging requirements and sizes
• Preparing final print-ready artwork for suppliers/printers and final production
• Experience and best design practices in various packaging formats such as: boxes, labels, sleeves, etc
• Good layout skills and attention to detail for editing packaging content and information
• Designer must stay up to date with local and global packaging trends and styles

Skills

• Degree/diploma in graphic design with experience in packaging design
• Understanding of the print and production process
• Understanding of packaging die lines (received from client/printers)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Fully experienced in Indesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure
• Strong technical knowledge
• Preparing final print artwork for print
