The role will include the following:
- Planning and execution of selling strategies.
- Meeting monthly and annual new business sales (with associated gross profit) targets.
- Marketing of the Company’s range of products .
- Finding and developing solutions to meet client requirements.
- Aggressively developing new customer base with focus on folding carton packaging, blister cards and package inserts.
- Handling new business-related calls, queries and associated administrative duties.
Required
- Matric plus marketing degree/diploma essential, not negotiable
- A minimum of 5 years sales experience with at least 5 focused on New Business Development in the printing / packaging industries and target markets.
- Proven history of the achievement of sales growth in new business during the last five years, preferably in the target markets
- Fluency in both English and an indigenous language.
- Good understanding of the use of ERP systems in business.
- A results and self-driven work approach together with the ability to plan, set goals and work according to strict deadlines.
- High levels of accuracy and standards of quality in work and dealings with customers.
- Computer literacy in the Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
- Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle is essential.
