Reports to: Senior Creative Lead, Creative Department
      Start date: Immediately
Company: Metisware (Ed-Tech & Hybrid Event Video Production Studio)

      About the role:

We’re looking for a Junior Digital Content Creator who lives and breathes creativity, someone who looks at an idea and instantly imagines how to make it more beautiful, balanced, and human. You’ll have the freedom to explore new creative ideas and contribute visually in a way that changes how we produce content at Metisware.
You don’t need to know everything yet. What matters most is your eye for modern design, your drive to learn, and your willingness to get hands-on with new tools that connect creativity and technology.
You’ll sit inside a small creative department, working directly with our Senior Creative Lead. The role is split roughly half and half between design and video editing.

      What you’ll be doing:
      • Designing and preparing clean, modern visuals that shape the overall look of our clients’ brands and productions
      • Bringing fresh design thinking to every project, from video layouts and on-screen graphics to event visuals, corporate and marketing content
      • Building and updating video assets for live, hybrid and in-room events, launches, graduations and webinars
      • Editing webinar and event recordings for client delivery
      • Editing short and long-form podcast episodes and interviews
      • Working on motion graphics and visual concepts, learning how design translates into storytelling, and what an audience sees during a livestream
      • Assisting with studio shoots and lighting setups, understanding how visuals come to life in-camera
      • Creating design and updating websites and e-learning content
      • Supporting the visual identity of ATSG 90.8 FM, our community radio station - graphics, social content and on-air campaigns
      • Assisting with admin-related tasks like webinar reporting and storage management
      What you’ll bring:
      • A portfolio showcasing your work
      • Solid working knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator
      • Working knowledge of Premiere Pro or other related video editing software
      • A strong eye for modern design: layout, type, balance and colour
      • The drive to learn quickly and the ability to take direction well
      • Own transport to and from our office and radio station
      • Willingness to work the occasional evening or weekend when a production calls for it
      Bonus points:

None of these are required. They will move you up the list.
      • After Effects and motion graphics
      • WordPress, or any hands-on web design experience
      • Photography or videography
      • Social media content creation
      Tools you’ll work with:
      • Adobe Creative Cloud - Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects
      • WordPress
      • ClickUp and the Microsoft 365 suite
      • Envato elements and our in-house asset libraries
      • Vimeo, OBS and SharePoint for streaming, delivery and media storage
      • Articulate rise 360 for e-learning content
      What we offer:
      • A collaborative, creative, fun and supportive work environment
      • Upskilling courses to enhance your creative design capabilities
      • Hands-on mentorship and real-world learning
      • Medical aid and pension fund
      • Hybrid working model
      • Petrol allowance (2 tanks of fuel per month)
      • Growth opportunities in an expanding ed-tech company
      • Workstation and laptop to produce creative work
