The 2014 awards season is well underway and in the circle this week, we have the winners of the Product of the Year Awards and the TAJ Classic Wine Trophy. Tetra Pak is also celebrating its iF Award win. Coming up soon is the Fairlady Consumer Awards, which sees the introduction of 10 new categories.

In trends and research, DHL unleashes its fashion trends report; Barloworld's annual supplychainforesight proves that the customer is still king, while BCG discovers that one of Africa's favourite pastimes is shopping. A new study released by A.T. Kearney aims to help retailers enter sub-Saharan Africa easily, and wiGroup gives us the inside look at in-store mobile transaction best practice with its new white paper.
