Scores injured after building collapses in PE

More than 80 people have been injured following the collapse of the floor of a fishing company, at the Port Elizabeth harbour, in the Eastern Cape.

Last night, the workers at the fish processing facility, Eyethu Fishing, were queuing to leave the building when the second-storey floor caved in.

Many of the workers were rushed to hospital for bruises and fractures and at least two people were in a serious condition. No fatalities were reported.

Port officials say they will launch a full investigation into the collapse.
