At the time of my retrenchment I was in the IT Process department where I held a position of IT process and project auditor. During this short period I was involved with the managing and coordination of IT project governance audits and management and analysis activities.
Prior to this I was employed by Standard Bank's IT Audit department for 11 years and whist I performed application audits, I was mainly involved as project auditor on a number of major Standard Bank IT projects.
Other valuable and varied work experience was gained whilst auditing different companies during my articles at KMPG and Internal and IT audit at Mutual & Federal and Liberty Life. Whilst working in the IT Audit department at Standard Bank I was also exposed to other tasks such as budgets and managing our department's financial spent.
I believe I will be an asset to your organisation due to my extensive knowledge base and experience gained during my working life of almost 25 years. Apart from being a good, motivated, accurate & precise worker delivering quality work on time, my personal strong points include building effective working relationships and serving the customer.
I am interested in a position as an Accountant - although I haven't been doing bookkeeping for some years, I believe I will pick up quickly as I did bookkeeping part time in the past and have been involved in budgets and cost management at Standard bank.
Alternatively I am interested in a position in Project Quality Assurance or as an IT project auditor or Internal Auditor. As I always strive to obtain different experiences, I am eager to explore other job opportunities too where I can incorporate my studies and skills.
