Show profile Hide profileI am a B.Compt and Master of Business Leadership (MBL) graduate from the University of South Africa. I am currently studying towards the completion of the CIS qualification with the Chartered Secretaries Southern Africa. I wrote two Board examinations in 2012.
My last employment was as Assistant General Manager Finance at the Public Servants Association (PSA), a labour Union representing government employees. I also have experience in Finance and Administration gained as Director Finance at Universities. Over the past ten years I have held positions as Chief Accountant and Accountant in public and private business.
I fully understand the challenges involved with the leadership and management of such a critical function as Head of Finance at an organisation and see myself as a person who has come through the "ranks" as far as this function is concerned.
As part of the Executive Management of the business, it is my belief that the Head of Finance must contribute towards a sense of Accountability and Transparency in relation to the Strategic Financial Management of the organisations financial affairs.
