Show profile Hide profileAs an Interior Designer, I am able to make structural changes to a space, design furniture and lighting and show the client; by means of perspective drawings or models; what the interior will look like. I produce the technical drawings for the contractors to work from as well.
Basically, as an Interior Designer, I take a brief, research, plan, conceptualise, produce a presentation and technical documentation and lastly oversee the construction to completion. This is done by means of producing presentation drawings and models, architectural plans and sectional elevations, detailed specifications and schedules and sample boards. Computer programmes such as Autodesk Revit Architecture, Autodesk 3ds Max Design, AutoCAD 2d and 3d as well as Adobe Photoshop CS4 are utilised.
