• He offers Strategic financial advice on financing options, Investments appraisals (for critical input for business proposals for financing).
• Alfred was employed as the Head of Finance of CoreNett Limited. A wholly owed Ghanaian company providing a national platform for the processing of electronic payment (Switch), software development and electronic personalized card manufacturing. CoreNett is also in the mobile phone cards printing business and currently prints for MTN, and sell phone top up credit electronically via P.O.S. terminals (dealing in MTN, tiGO, Onego and Kasapa credits)
• I also offered financial advice for strategic planning and client management. And manages the diverse multinational clientele of CoreNett Limited which are spread all over the Globe, which sometimes meant working around the clock and at midnight to correspond real-time online with our multinational clients from various time zones, and also the preparation of financial statements both for management use and external purposes.
• As part of my desire to impart knowledge, I took on the task of training to use AccPack (Simply accounting), an accounting software, Its installation (multi-user), and give training to users (in the Finance department, Sales and Printing Departments. This saved the organization a lot of the training costs that could have gone to the external consultants.
• The Finance team has been managed from the keeping of accounting records through the audit of our financial statements, to post audit management discussions.
• I set up a working accounting and control system comparable to international standards.
• I have contributed immensely on all of our local and International projects; from inputs of the Financials in our projections & investments appraisals, business plans and other financing proposals to our bankers. And also renegotiation of our finance requirement and Loan repayments.
