Agri SA welcomes the appointment of Andrea Campher to the Disaster Relief Fund Board

Agri SA has welcomed the appointment of Andrea Campher to the Disaster Relief Fund Board by the minister of social development, Lindiwe Zulu. Campher will assume her new role on 1 February for a period of two years or until the Fund Raising Act 107 of 1978 is repealed, whichever occurs first.

The fund aims to render humanitarian relief to persons, organisations and bodies who suffer damages or loss caused by a disaster. Campher's responsibility will be to ensure that relief is administered as stipulated in the Fund Raising Act 107 of 1978.
