Femada Shamam named Tafta CEO
Femada Shamam has been appointed as the CEO of the Durban welfare organisation, Tafta. Shamam is set to take on the reins at the non-profit organisation following the semi-retirement of longstanding CEO, Margie Smith.
Shamam started out at Tafta as a social worker, 17 years ago, and over the years, Shamam assumed various management roles within the organisation until she was appointed COO in 2016. Shamam comes with a wealth of knowledge and experience in elderly care.
