Donation of wool required

The programme teaches children from previously disadvantaged areas on the importance of living a heart healthy life and the dangers of alcohol and smoking. "The majority of the children are from very poor areas. The state of the buildings they use for the crèches does not bode well with the upcoming cold and windy winter months. We would like to appeal to the public to donate wool for the beanies thereby ensuring that the little ones will be kept a little warmer this season," explained Michelle Kearney, communications director, HSFSA.
