Sponsorship for Family Day celebration

Multi-talented Youth Organisation and Khuba Music Entertainment has planned a Family Day celebration on the 9th of April 2007 at Osizweni Comunnity Hall for at least 300 women and child-headed families at Osizweni Township in Newcastle. We would like to cook for them and to give them food parcels/hampers, clothing hampers etc. We are asking for funding and/or donations in whatever way, which will help us to facilitate the process of making others feel important.

Osizweni is the township which constitutes mainly of poverty-stricken young and old people. There are a lot of children who are orphans and come from child-headed families, and mothers who are widowed. The streets are teaming with teenagers who dropped out of school due to lack of funds caused by high unemployment.

This result in these young people resorting to promiscuity, crime, unruliness and juvenile delinquent activities.
