Production Planner

Our client, a leading player in the print and packaging industry, is seeking an experienced and highly organised Production Planner to join their dynamic team. This role is ideal for a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven manufacturing environment, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all administrative activities related to the production planning process.
  

• Participate in daily and weekly production meetings, ensuring all departments are aligned with client delivery dates and production priorities.
  

• Develop and maintain accurate production schedules to ensure seamless workflow across printing, finishing, and packaging departments.
  

• Liaise closely with internal sales and account management teams to determine lead times and ensure on-time, in-full (OTIF) delivery of customer orders.
  

• Work in collaboration with the Production Manager and supervisory team to monitor progress, flag potential bottlenecks, and implement solutions proactively.
  

Requirements

• Previous experience in the print, packaging, or related manufacturing industry is highly desirable.
  

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across multiple departments.
  

• Analytical and creative thinker — able to interpret information and make informed scheduling decisions.
  

• Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong sense of ownership and attention to detail.
  

• Passionate about production planning and committed to continuous improvement.
