CATHSSETA accredits Flight Centre as an official training provider

The Culture, Art, Tourism, Hospitality, and Sports Sector Education and Training Authority (CATHSSETA) has accredited Flight Centre Travel Group as an official provider of the General Certificate in Travel qualification. Flight Centre will now provide skills training to its staff and unemployed people in the tourism industry.

“Our vision is to provide outstanding training experiences for students, both internally and externally, and supply job-ready talent to the travel and tourism industry as part of our real-world education outlook,” comments Sam van Gool, Flight Centre Peopleworks General Manager.

Flight Centre submitted its application for accreditation last year and already have seven of its internal trainers qualified as assessors and three as moderators.
