Global sports-based charity, Laureus, launched its sixth annual Youth Empowerment through Sport programme, between 26 February and 4 March 2017, by means of an education training camp that took place at The Team House in Noordhoek, Cape Town. FutureMe held their first World of Work (WoW) festival on 25 November at Christel House School in Cape Town. The social enterprise, aimed at addressing the youth unemployment crisis in South Africa, introduced the festival as an interactive event for learners and employers to gain first-hand exposure to a vast array of careers and employers.
