Golden Planes is a boutique Cape Town film production house and production service company that was founded in 2006 by producer/director Herman Le Roux. Since then we’ve logged some serious flying time, making hundreds of hours of TV commercials and content for clients from all over Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
We excel at shooting throughout Africa; our multi-skilled, multi-national team can draw upon filmmaking experience in four continents to provide constructive, creative input to any stage of any production.
Adidas, Virgin, Hyundai, Pantene, Gillette, Head & Shoulders, Nashua, TEDx, Pampers and Ariel are amongst the brands that have entrusted our high-flying crew of directors and producers to skillfully pilot their projects to a smooth and successful touchdown.
Our hand-picked directing roster - Bruce Paynter, Sven Harding and Porteus Xandau - possesses a wide range of specialist talents; from working with a set full of babies, to shooting cinematic, ground-breaking documentaries; from coaxing enthralling performances from a multi-lingual cast, to coordinating spectacular choreographed musical spots.
And, our recently acquired editing and grading facility means that we can now personally oversee every stage of every project, from first board to final broadcast, in-house.
So, sit back, and let us whisk you away on a bespoke, high-altitude African content-creating adventure - your feet won’t touch the ground.
