"Hostex is the only trade show that has the support of the South African Chefs Association (SACA) and over the years has become an established brand name that attracts exhibitors from all over the world," says Lynn Chamier, director at Exhibitions for Africa (EFA), which recently became a division of the UK company Specialised Exhibitions, a subsidiary of Andry Montgomery.
"We are delighted to be part of this prestigious hospitality exhibition, showcasing the best the Cape and KwaZulu-Natal have to offer – an exciting mix of cultures, flavours and aromas to titillate the senses," adds Graham Donet, GM at SACA.
"The SACA Chefs Village at the 2008 shows will host both local and international chefs demonstrating what they do best – creating culinary masterpieces while promoting the art and science of cookery."
Also targeting the décor, design and retail industries, this year's Hostex takes place 28 – 30 May 2008 at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) and at the Durban Exhibition Centre 8 –10 September.
