The 200-gram burgers have received good reviews from Weekend Argus food columnist, Bianca Coleman, and other fans. The restaurant offers beef, chicken and vegetarian options with a choice of thick-cut fries (potato, sweet potato or half-and-half), spiced-up with a sprinkling of its addictive seasoning salt. It also offers beef, lamb or pork ribs.
The basting sauces and No 6 Creamy Sauce are best-kept secrets, which include Gibson's Famous Onion Blossom, its signature seasoned-then-deep-fried giant onion accompanied by a piquant secret sauce.
The restaurant style has a warm décor, accentuated by the mellow sounds of jazz in the background that will transport diners back to New York in the 1940s, with impeccably dressed staff in full aprons and nifty flat caps.
