Cartier Women's Initiative Awards opens for entries
The Cartier Women's Initiative Awards, an entrepreneurship competition for start-ups led by women organised by Cartier in partnership with the Women's Forum, McKinsey and INSEAD business school, has opened for 2016 applications.
The 2015 finalists and laureates
This entrepreneurship competition aims at supporting creative, financially sustainable and responsible women-led start-ups, in all countries and industries.
Requirements
The competition is open to women from any country, nationality and industry. To apply, businesses must be:
- An original for-profit business creation
- In the start-up phase: between two to three years of operations
- The main leadership position must be filled by a woman
Eighteen finalists, representing the best projects worldwide will be selected in the first phase of the contest. They will receive coaching and media exposure and will be invited to attend the finale week, which includes a presentation in front of an international jury and entrepreneurship workshops.
The six laureates nominated for the Awards receive one year of coaching, $20,000 in funding, media visibility and networking opportunities. The highlight of the competition is the Awards Ceremony, which takes place in Deauville, France during the Annual Global Meeting of the Women’s Forum.
